Friendzy Social Emotional Curriculum

The Friendzy Curriculum is designed to build positive school culture by offering vital social and emotional learning (SEL) lessons to proactively address aggressive behavior, reduce stress, equip students with healthy relationship skills, and improve focus and academic performance, which increases resiliency for success in school and in life.  The Friendzy program proactively address the various challenges that students face in their peer-to-peer relationships by teaching the core competencies of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL): Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Responsible Decision Making, Social Awareness and Relationship Skills.

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School is proud to incorporate the Joy of It Friendzy curriculum into the third through eight grade classes. Grounded in biblical truth, this program is a collaborative effort of teachers, administrators, educational psychologists, counselors, pastors, and other caring adults. OLL School is committed to the social emotional growth of all of its students. Please see below for more information, or visit the Joy of It Friendzy website.
